Artemisia Naxos, aka Francisco, Michele Cacciofera and Piero Roccaslavo, three friends, three true born artists.
One night, Artemisia told me about her works, of her friendship with Michele and Piero, and of their willingness to make together an exhibition.
They tried in RL, but due to various adversities that was not possible. So they had an idea: to make the exhibition in SL.
I found that challenging. After all, that is one of the reasons that took me here, make RL and SL interact.
That's how "Il Corpo e l'Anima" (The Body and Soul) was born.
The three artists use the human body as an image, they all explore its soul.
In Artemisia's works, you can taste the emotions of glances. Subtle expressions of the inner being.
Delicate portraits and deep introspections. A reinterpretation of art since the times of Magna Graecia.
Both in contents and technique.
Michele Cacciofera is even more intimist. With a few traits he's able to give life to movements and feelings. His works are apparently simple drawings, but if you look at them with attention they will take you to the inner scream that only great artists are able to blast.
Piero Roccasalvo is mostly focused on the "soul". He transfigures the body passing directly to its content.
The tones of blue that he uses constitutes the aerial part of the world, where the structure of the body can be placed. This is sectioned and disjointed, even mocked sometimes. For him, you have to go beyond appearance. Living the inner sphere never minding the "container".
They are all prominent international artists that we are very happy to introduce you.

Artemisia Naxos aka Francisco, Michele Cacciofera e Piero Roccaslavo, tre amici, tre artisti di razza.
Una sera Artemisia mi parlò dei suoi lavori, della sua amicizia con Michele e Piero, e del fatto che
avrebbero voluto fare una mostra insieme. Ci hanno provato in RL, ma per varie traversie non fu
possibile. Venne l'idea di farla in SL.
La cosa mi stuzzicò. In fondo è uno dei motivi che mi hanno portata qui, far interagire RL e SL.
Così è nata "Il Corpo e l'Anima".
Tutti e tre utilizzano il corpo umano come immagine, e tutti e tre esplorano l'anima.
Nei lavori di Artemisia, si assaporano le emozioni degli sguardi. Sottili espressioni dell'essere
interiore.
Delicati ritratti e intense introspezioni. Una rivisitazione dell'arte dai tempi della Magna Grecia.
Sia nei contenuti che nella tecnica.
Michele Cacciofera è ancora più intimistico. Con pochi tratti riesce a dare vita a movimenti e
sentimenti. Le sue opere, in apparenza semplici disegni, portano a chi osserva con attenzione,
all'urlo interiore che solo grandi artisti riescono a far esplodere.
Piero Roccasalvo tra i tre è il più "anima". Trasfigura il corpo e passa direttamente al contenuto.
I blu che usa sono l'etereo mondo, dove posizionare la struttura corpo. Che viene sezionata e
disarticolata, beffeggiata a volte. Per lui bisogna passare oltre l'apparenza. Vivere l'intimo e
non curarsi del contenitore.
Sono tutti e tre artisti di calibro internazionale, e siamo lieti di poterveli presentare.
